Your surface analysis could win you a prize this spring!
With a new version of Mountains® software being released this spring, we are organizing a contest for Mountains® users.
“Snakeskin” 3D view
Send us your most beautiful 3D views in order to be entered into a prize draw for a cool noise-cancelling wireless headset.
A cool prize is up for grabs!
Each submission counts as an entry into the prize draw, so be sure to submit as many files as you like for a greater chance at winning. (Please note, that each file must be based on a different studiable, or dataset, to be counted as an additional entry).
Feel free to play around with the different tools available in Mountains® for visual presentation such as color palettes, enhancement, rendering, gloss, luminosity etc. and to name your surface something fun. The surface above may be a car dashboard, but to us it looks more like a snakeskin🐍
Make the most of the extensive options in the 3D view tab.
Then simply follow the details below to submit your entry and keep your fingers crossed!
Contest guidelines
- Participants must submit one or several 3D views generated by Mountains® software in .jpeg format (see example above). The Mountains file (.MNT) used to generate the view must also be submitted.
- Participants must have the rights to share the file they are submitting.
- Participants must also send their: full name, email address, company/university and a short name and explanation about the image or surface used.
- Additional information such as the microscope used, the method applied, the application etc. is much appreciated.
- The competition will run from April 15 to May 31, 2024.
- Entries must be submitted via the link below by 12:00 PM EST time on May 31.
- The winner will be notified by email by June 12.
